Breeding

ACTION - Turn Bull Loose ACTION - Remove Bull

A bull is released into a cowherd approximately 55 days after the calving period, depending on the cows' body condition score (BCS). If it was a cow's first time calving, she will take longer to re-breed by at least 10 days.

Milking

In order to milk cows, you have to purchase a Dairy Barn NFT.

from wiki on Hand Milking -- An individual milker could not be expected to milk more than a dozen cows a day. Milking took place indoors twice a day, in a barn with the cattle tied by the neck with ropes or held in place by stanchions. Most dairy cattle were pastured during the day between milkings.

Each character can milk 12 cows per day.

Cows can be milked every 12 hours if they are producing milk. Cows start producing milk after calving. Production levels peak at around 40-60 days after calving. Production declines steadily afterwards until milking is stopped at about 10 months. The cow is "dried off" for about 60 days before calving again. Within a 12 to 14-month inter-calving cycle, the milking period is about 305 days or 10 months long. Certain breeds produce more milk than others within a range of around 6,800 to 17,000 kg of milk per year.
